The title of this blog sounds extreme and scary but when you consider the direction this government is taking our nation, many citizens, at least those who pay taxes are super charged with anger. Once again the federal government, led by our liberal, socialist President has announced we can expect a one and one half trillion dollar deficit this fiscal year. This will be added to the 14.5 trillion dollar national debt. The Obama led government is still engaged in spending money like drunken sailors and - God forbid - that Obama and his liberal ilk lead this country another 4 years, this nation will be on the fast track toward bankruptcy.
American citizens are sick and fed up with government's inability or reluctance to enforce illegal immigration, despite the fact that illegal immigration is costing our nation billions of dollars each year. At the present time, a home located at the end of our cul-de-sac is being used as an illegal alien safehouse, where drug activity is suspected and law enforcement is jerking complaining residents around, claiming they will keep an eye on the place. In the meantime, no police have been observed in our cul-de-sac since they claimed they were keeping an eye on the place. It is frustrating that my church is protecting and harboring illegal aliens and pushing for amnesty for illegals. Illegal aliens, specifically illegals from south of the U.S. border, are breaking the infrastructure of our nation. These people do not want to become U.S. citizens, they want the U.S. to become a Mexico, Spanish speaking country. Do these illegals work hard? For the most part they do, but there is an element that is engaged in criminal activity and many of our homicides involve Spanish speaking illegals.
Our government, especiallly the Democratic Party, seems focused on representing the 48% of our nation that does not pay taxes and lives off some sort of dole. Obama and his cohorts believe it is just to take money away from those who work for it and give it to those who sit on their ass and hold their hand out. Frustrated and angry tax paying citizens are joining tea parties and speaking out against taxation and liberalism. However, the Obama led government treats tea party people as the enemy and try to portray them as law breakers.
If Barack Obama is reelected in 2012, I believe it is highly possible by 2015 that there will be open rebellion in this nation, as Obama keeps raising taxes and promoting liberal socialist programs.
I believe the only way to straighten out the mess in this country, is to shut down the federal government temporarily. Then eliminate thousands of government agencies and programs that serve no purpose other than the promotion of socialist programs. We need to place education back in the hands of the states and eliminate the bloated and corrupt Department of Education. Education needs to get back to the basics of teaching children reading, writing and arithmetic and eliminate all of the diversity programs, sex education programs, and why can't we all get along programs.
Of course, this will not happen and the only way to correct the problem is revolution.
Eventually, the people who pay for all of the nonsense that our government presently promotes are going to reach a boiling point and they will rise up in anger.
That is my take and would be interested in hearing from others.

Liar, liar pants on fire!
As I watched Obama's speech the night before last, I wanted to scream, "liar, liar, pants on fire." I have never seen such arrogance, egotism and narcissistic behavior in a President.
Obama's statement that he wants to reduce the deficit is an absolute lie and a sham! This scumbag liberal is increasing the national debt faster than any other President in history. Obama is adamant in his refusal to eliminate funding to Planned Parenthood, the government funded abortion clinic. I have to ask, why in hell are taxpayers paying to eliminate the result of the sexual pleasure enjoyed by thousands of Obama's people. Thousands of men across our nation are enjoying sex with numerous women and impregnating many of them. Then they are not held responsible because they are "the poor." Bullshit! We the taxpayers have no obligation to pay for your sexual pleasure! Of course the majority of these sexual predators are of the same skin color as Obama, and God forbid that any white man condemn these animals, because to do so is racism. Horsehit! I just call a Spade a Spade!
Obama told the American people that the United States was not taking a leading role in the war in Libya and that our goal was not to interfere in Libyan politics. Bullshit! We now learn via many media sources that the U.S. is hell bent on taking down Qhadaffi and installing a new government.
Obama attacked Republicans for their proposal to reduce government expense and lower the deficit. He also stated with profound arrogance that he intended to do away with the "Bush" tax cuts (they were not cuts) and tax the wealthy. I have to ask this pile of feces President, define the wealthy? I am an old retired individual who is paying a hell of a lot of taxes. Am I one of those so-called rich? Why is it that 60% of the the people who voted this pile of phony baloney to the Presidency do not pay any taxes, yet reap numerous benefits from government.
Obama needs to be impeached because he has violated his oath of office, is not qualified to be President and is dangerous to this nation.
Do I sound angry? You're damned right! Obama does not belong in the oval office, he belongs in prison, with Gotti and other organized crime thugs.

I Calls Em Like I Sees Em!
Recently, a couple of people have criticized my latest postings as too harsh and too critical of President Barack Hussein Obama. They tell me that referring to Obama as a scumbag, is derogatory and disrespectful of the office that he holds.
To this criticizm I would respond, having served in the military and being a police officer for over 25 years, I can readily identify with people who are so disgusting that they qualify as 'scum.' Also, I have never been a man to mince words when saying what I feel in my heart and mind.
Barack Hussein Obama, a corrupt community organizer from Chicago, with a highly questionable past and quite possibly not even qualified under the U.S. Constitution to hold the esteemed office of President of the United States, does not belong in the White House and he defiles the esteemed office of President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief.
Obama gained the Presidency through complicity of a corrupt political system; acting in concert with a corrupt media unconcerned about the United States Constitution or investigating the charasmatic black candidate for President, simply because he was black and they thrilled at his undefined message of hope and change. Corrupt labor unions also played a major role in getting Obama elected because in him they knew their power would increase and they would be rewarded with government payoffs.
Obama was elected using the organized crime modus operandi of "give me millions of dollars for my campaign and support my election and after I am in power, I will reward you by payoffs with taxpayer dollars and an insurance policy that unions will continue their hold on power.
All of the hope and change nonsense offered up by Obama was b.s. and absolute baloney. One group's hopes can be 180 degrees opposite of another group's hopes. Every living, breathing human holds out hope for something good to happen in their life. What might be good for them may vey well be quite bad for another. And, why didn't Obama make it clear that the change he had in mind for America, would trash the United States Constitution and bankrupt the nation. The majority of citizens who actually pay taxes to fund government, did not elect the community organizer to the Presidency. His votes came via greedy union members, government employees and minorities who have been holding their hands out to government since Johnson's War on Poverty began and crying out, "Give me! Give me! I am entitled!"
The fact that Barack Hussein Obama is a fraud; qualifies as a leader of an organized crime operation, and is doing his best to bankrupt America qualifies him as a scumbag. As Commander-in-Chief, Obama handicaps our military in Afghanistan and gets brave members of our military killed, by forcing them to operate under completely asinine rules of engagement. In my book, this qualifies Obama as a scumbag. Why should any American have to sacrifice their life for the arrogance and stupidity of an unqualified President and CIC. Obama is weak in his dealings with Islamic terrorists and acts sumissively to Islamic country rulers. Obama is pretending to enforce illegal immgration, while in truth promoting amnesty to secure support and votes from criminals. Yes, for the imbeciles who like to refer to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS as undocumented aliens, I would point out that illegal immigrants are CRIMINALS! Obama's action, or rather non-action, in this regard, qualifies him as a scumbag. Obama recently acted pursuant to directive from the United Nations and ordered America's involvement in the Libyan civil war. For the imbeciles who think there is nothing wrong with this I will point out that for a President to order military involvement without seeking approval of Congress, requires that the safety and security of America is at risk from the enemy nation. There is no way in hell that Libya, despite its evil, insane leader poses any threat to America. By failing to ask Congress for approval to get involved in Libya, Obama violated the U.S. Constitution and committed an impeachable offense. Therefore, he is a scumbag! America is not ruled or governed by the United Nations and as corrupt as that organization has become, no American President should let the U.N. dictate to him. Most recently, during the ongoing stalemate with Congress over the budget and possible shutdown of government, Obama flew up to New York City to join in a celebration honoring another scumbag by the name of Al Sharpton. This action was obviously carried out to obtain campaign dollars from Sharpton supporters and to get votes from minorities who love all the government hand out programs that Obama supports. This qualifies Obama as a scumbag!
I would encourage anyone who takes offense at a scumbag being called a scumbag to write their own ode of praise for Barack Hussein Obama. That praise would be just as deserved as the Nobel Peace Prize he won for?????

The Latest By our Scumbag President
How many of you are aware that while the budget crisis is ongoing and the stalemate is about to result in government shutdown, President Barack Hussein Obama, flew up to New York City, naturally at taxpayers expense, to honor - of all people - AL SHARPTON! This was kept pretty silent and the Obama mainstream media didn't have much of any comment, if any, about it.
Al Sharpton is the same scumbag who went to the aid of Tawana Brawley, the little slut who falsely claimed that she had been held captive by whites and abused. Even accused an Assistant District Attorney in Dutchess County New York, of being involved. Investigation proved Brawley lied and made up the whole scenario to avoid punishment for bad behavior and to obtain sympathy. The Assistant DA won a civil lawsuit against Al Sharpton for defamation and to my knowledge Sharpton has yet to pay the award decided by the court.
Obviously Obama's travel to NYC to honor scumbag Sharpton was for the purpose of getting $$ and votes from the crud that adore scumbag Sharpton.
Sharpton travels about the country supporting black racism causes and he is a poor example for a Reverend. Sharpton should be in prison for the crap that he has pulled.
When Obama pays homage to a scumbag, he qualifies as a scumbag!

Our President Is Out of Control!
Okay, no more Mr. Nice Guy! I am going to begin calling despotic scumbags, scumbags. Barack Hussein Obama is beginning to act like a dictator and a despot, therefore, he is a scumbag!
Obama takes money from public sector unions and supports their rape of the American taxpayer. That makes him a scumbag!
Obama has decided that he can bypass Congress and follow mandates handed down by the socialist dominated United Nations. Therefore he is a scumbag!
Obama rammed healthcare legislation down our throats ignoring negativity from the overwhelming majority of the American public. Therefore, he is a scumbag!
Obama has decided he can order military intervention in any (weak) country of the world while ignoring the requirement that the safety and security of America must be at risk for taking military action. Therefore, he is a scumbag!
No one despises Gadaffi more than I and I would take pleasure in his demise, but what gives America the right to interfere in another nation's civil war? Think about this. What if revolution broke out in America because a large majority of the citizenry became sick and fed up with government's behavior, and another nation - for instance Iran - decided that to protect American citizenry from death and destruction, they had to get involved. This equates to the same situation as what is presently happening in Libya. Therefore, Obama is a scumbag!
Obama is spending money like a drunken dictator, drunk on power consequently burying America in debt. Therefore, Obama is a scumbag!
Obama is spending outrageous sums of money on personal vacations and personal pleasure while claiming he feels for America's poor. Therefore, Obama is a scumbag!
Obama is giving Constitutional Rights, which they are not entitled to to foreign terrorists hellbent on killing Americans. Therefore, Obama is a scumbag!
Obama lies to the American people at will, while saying, "I want to make myself perfectly clear." The truth is, he takes pride in pulling the wool over our eyes and knows he will not be challenged by a complicit liberal, all-supportive socialist media. Therefore, Obama is a scumbag!
Vice President Biden once called for the impeachment of George Bush, for engaging America's military without the approval of Congress. Now that Obama has engaged our military without approval of Congress, Biden has changed his mind and says, "well this is different because Obama is President." Therefore, Joe Biden is a scumbag!
Eric Holder, castigates members of the Tea Party, protects Muslim terrorists and refuses to prosecute Nation of Muslim thugs who intimidated voters. Therefore, Holder is a racist and a scumbag!
Never in the history of America has the administration of our country been under the control of such a large group of scumbags!
Enough is enough! Hillary Clinton keeps preaching, "Gadaffi must go!" Well, Mrs. Clinton, you and the rest of the crud that are screwing up America, MUST GO!
If it takes an Egyptian or Libyan type situation to throw them out, then so be it!

Our Clueless, Brainless President
Why in hell is the United States getting involved in the Libyan conflict? If Qadaffi wins, Libyans hate America. If the Libyan rebels win, they hate America. Our President in his typical infinite, infantile foolishness, is about to commit billions of dollars and possibly even military personnel to interfere in a country where we have no business interfering. Is it the Libyan oil? If it is, why haven't we kicked Qadaffi's ass long before this and seized the oil!
The media refuses to shine a negative light on their 'anointed one,' despite his failings, his lies and his ignorance in dealing with the Islam problem. If a Republican were sitting in the White House, the media would be castigating him - or her - on a daily basis and doing its utmost to destroy public trust.
For the life of me, I cannot understand why Obama continues to walk on water with the media and why they support this liberal socialist who is doing his best to bankrupt America!
Of course realizing the intelligence of the average American voter, it is conceivable to believe the Charlie Sheen could run for President in 2012 and be elected. Forty percent of our society support Obama because they only know how to say "gimme, gimme," and hold their hand out for more. Another 12% of our society speak only Spanish and they love Senor Obama for not enforcing immigration laws and for giving them all the wonderful benefits they receive from the gringo American government. The remaining 48% of our society is working their asses off to feed their families, pay their mortgages and pay the taxes that are distributed to the sit-on-their-ass Obama gimme supporters.
If Obama does win reelection, America may very well become embroiled in another revolution.
As I write this, 'the annointed one' and a huge entourage (on our dollar) are whooping it up down in Rio.
Obama is destroying America, but I will give him credit for one thing. He is elevating Jimmy Carter's image and Jimmy no longer holds the distinction of being the worst President in the history of our nation.

PIRACY ON THE HIGH SEAS
It seems every week my newspaper has an article reporting the seizure of a vessel by Somali pirates. For a time the mainstream media were writing the piracy stories with a swashbuckling romantic flair. It seemed only righteous to liberals that the poor Somalis were fleecing millions of $$ from greedy, wealthy shipping countries and wealthy individuals. Then the romance turned ugly when the pirates seized a sailing vessel and murdered (executed) their hostages.
What has been Obama's response to the cut throat scum of Somalia? He ordered a naval presence in the area to protect unarmed vessels. The Somalis obviously are not intimidated and have responded that any attempts to stop them will result in the killing of hostages.
I have to question why the most powerful nation on earth (rapidly being weakened under Obama's Presidency) is tolerating this piracy outrage. Somalia is a scum sucking African nation, without a legitimate government and those in charge of the country hate the United States. If our man/boy President had gonads, he would advise Somalia that he holds that rag tag government responsible for the piracy and that the piracy must immediately end or Somalia will be converted into an African landfill. Wouldn't be difficult because most of the country is already a landfill.
Of course that will not happen. Obama is too busy playing up to the union mobs that give him the millions of $$ to run a campaign, and soliciting the support of homosexuals. In other words, he is fulfilling the job he knows best, that of an organized crime boss.

Obama Fiddles While the World is in Chaos
The Middle East is a powder keg with a lit fuze and what does our President do? Incredibly, he fans the fire by encouraging dissent and showing subservience to Islamic, anti-American sentiments. He told Mubarek that he should listent to the voice of his country and resign. Guess that advice did not apply to Obama, who refused to listen to the voice of the American public and rammed healthcare legislation down their throats.
Yesterday, Somali pirates, after having seized an American sailing vessel, murdered their four American hostages. What response do we get from Obama? As expected, strong words (always words and no action) of condemnation.
The price of gasoline is skyrocketing and isn't it strange that when that happened under Bush's watch, the media screamed bloody murder blaming Bush for the high cost and stirred resentment among the public. What do we hear from the media now? Nothing! Silence, because the annointed socialist, Barack Hussein Obama must be shielded and protected.
The price of almost every food product is rising rapidly and what is Obama doing to address this problem? Incredibly, he is causing the rise of prices through enforcement by his administration of all the egregious regulations that affect farmers and retailers.
At the present time two Iranian warships are making their way through the Suez Canal, something that has not been allowed in nearly 40 years. This is a direct provocation and threat against Israel. What is Obama's response? Silence! Obama, perhaps because of his allegiance to Muslims, does not like Israel and would find secret joy in having Israel become the nation of Palestine.
So, while the world is aboil in turmoil, what is our Man/Boy President doing? He has begun campaigning for his reelection in 2012. He is carrying out the role of the only expertise that he truly possesses - a leader of organized crime. He lent his voice and support to union thugs in Wisconsin and in doing so is assured of receiving lots of campaign cash from his loyal union supporters that lead the NEA.
How many times do I have to remind the Justice Department that Obama and his staff are violating laws passed by the federal government to combat organized crime. That law is commonly referred to as RICO Act. How is Obama and his cronies violating the law? By accepting millions of $$ from unions to get elected and then rewarding the unions with payoffs of public (taxpayer) money and protecting unions from State and local governments.
Many of my friends tell me that Obama is a brilliant orator. They are not trained to recognize body language and truthfulness. All they are hearing is the sort of oratory that every super salesman delivers. An in depth examination of Obama reveals he lies easily and often. Obama is unqualified to hold the office of President of the United States! Not because of his birth, but because he is incompetent and is placing America in great danger to bankruptcy and defeat in the world arena.

Doublespeaking President
President Obama informed President Mubarek of Egypt that he needs to heed the will of the majority of the people of Egypt and resign. In issuing this directive, Obama has revealed what a hypocrite he is. Why hasn't the American media and especially the Conservatives in this nation jumped all over Obama for being so arrogant and hypocritical? They should be screaming from the rooftops, "Hey Mr. President, the majority of the American people are demanding the repeal of health care legislation. You need to heed your own advice and join with the majority in the House of Representatives and repeal the repressive health care legislation." Which by the way, a federal judge has declared to be unconstitutional! In a show of dictatorial arrogance Obama is basically thumbing his nose at the judge, our Constitution and like a spoiled child is crying, "I don't care what the Constitution says, I am in charge and by God - or rather, Allah - this country is going to do my bidding.
On another note, President Obama and his cronies are violating the Racketeering Influence and Corruption Act (RICO),which was passed to deal with organized crime. How? Obama has accepted millions of dollars in contributions from labor unions and as a pay off he is exempting them from compliance with the health care legislation and rewarding them with taxpayer dollars. Will these scumbag criminals be investigated and prosecuted? Not a chance in hell! Obama has decided he is above the law and Eric Holder, a partner in crime supervises the Justice Department.
I have found that most of the people I know, who support the health care legislation have no clue as to what the legislation provides and how labor unions who supported Obama are exempt from compliance, as well as Amish, Muslims & American Indians. These exemptions alone are justification for finding the legislation unconstitutional on the basis of discrimination. How in hell can the government require most Christian religious denominations to comply with the law and exempt MUSLIMS, AMISH AND AMERICAN INDIANS from compliance? HEY OBAMA DO YOU KNOW THE DEFINITION OF DISCRIMINATION?
On a side note, Michelle Obama is in Atlanta today, pushing her healthy eating agenda. Why is it that every first lady, who wasn't elected to anything, always takes on a position of authority by suggesting some program or legislation that often impacts individual freedom and personal discretion and results in costing millions and billions of dollars? What any person eats in this nation is their business, not government! When government starts telling us what sort of light bulbs we can use, what sort of cars we can drive, what sort of energy we can use, what sort of food we can eat; our freedom and individual rights are being eroded. Government needs to be forced on a severe diet and downsized by about one million employees!
America has an abundance of oil underneath our ground and just off our shores. Government is preventing the drilling for this oil and is forcing a dependence on foreign oil. We have learned that the Environmental Protection Agency has exclusive power to regulate and deny gas and oil production. Incredibly, Congress has no authority to force the EPA to open up oil and gas recovery on American soil!
Sadly, government is going to keep expanding and becoming more repressive. Individual freedom and rights are being eroded and meanwhile government is going to keep spending money on stupidity and burying our nation in ever mounting debt. Eventually, the people who pay for all of the nonsense are going to explode in anger and America will become another Egypt!

A Truthful State of the Union Address
If President Obama had told the truth in last evening's State of the Union address, he would have said something along the line of the following: "My fellow citizens, during the first two years of my administration, we increased the national debt five trillion dollars. No other President in the history of this great nation managed to spend money like we did and no other administration increased the national debt in such a vast amount in just two years. During my administration, we thumbed our noses at the American people and passed healthcare legislation, which will permit the federal government to control one-fifth of the economy and limit many of the freedoms presently enjoyed by our nation's citizens. Twelve million people, many of them illegal aliens, who do not pay taxes, will receive health care paid for by working American citizens.
During the first two years of my administration I added 140,000 workers to the federal payroll and added thousands of pages of bureaucratic red tape to government programs. During the first two years of my administration we started prosecuting members of the military for abusing the rights of terrorists who are enemies of America. During the first two years of my administration, we rewarded unions and banks that invested a great deal of money in my election campaign with federal funds seized from American taxpayers.
During the first two years of my administration, I spent five billion dollars traveling around the world meeting with foreign leaders and apologizing for America's conduct. During the first two years of my administration I appointed 40 czars to oversee agencies, with the intent to carry out my liberal-socialist agenda without complying with the United States Constitution. During the first two years of my administration, we managed to circumvent the United States Constitution, in getting legislation passed; legislation that erodes the rights of America's citizens.
My focus, now that Republicans control the House of Representatives, is to reduce spending which will be accomplished by vetoing any legislation and expenditures that do not meet the requirements of my liberal agenda. The top priority of my administration will be a focus on improving America's economy and improving our nation's education system by investing more money in public education. (This despite the fact that funding to public education has been dramatically increased every year since the Department of Education was created in 1980 with no significant improvement in the quality of education)
My fellow Americans, recent events have created a new tone of civility in government and my administration intends to listen to, cooperate and work with opposition - as long as they agree with my liberal socialist agenda. We are confident that if they fail to do so, the mainstream media will embarass, besmirch, castigate and ruin them with creative journalism. My fellow Americans, your President is now committed to transparency - by all Republicans serving in Congress. Your President will only continue to lie and pull the wool over your eyes when it is beneficial to my agenda.
My administration is fully committed to the environment and development of alternative energy sources. In this regard, no domestic drilling for oil will be allowed and the coal mining industry should plan on going bust. Our intent is to motivate the use of public transportation for all travel and in this regard, gasoline prices will continue to escalate until no citizen can afford to drive a gasoline powered vehicle.
My fellow Americans the goal of this administration is to make every citizen fully dependent of the federal government for virtually every aspect of their lives. May God Bless Socialist America!

The Obama Led Government Is Mentally Ill
How ironic and sick is it that the Obama administration goes out of its way to protect the rights of terrorists, while freely violating the rights of law abiding American citizens. Non citizen Islamic terrorists are being provided Miranda Rights and tried for their terrorist crimes under Constitutional rules never intended for foreign enemy combatants. Crud Attorney General Eric Holder, was insistent that Islamic terrorists could and should be tried in the United States and crowed that he could guarantee they would be found guilty and justice served. Holder now has egg all over his face after the very first trial of a terrorist in New York City. The America hating terrorist was found NOT GUILTY ON 286 COUNTS OF A 287 COUNT INDICTMENT. Meanwhile, American citizens are being subjected to illegal sexaul assault by the government TSA inspectors at airports. I cannot believe our TSA agents are conducting body searches of Muslim women.
All of this insanity is totally uncalled for because everyone in America knows that it is ISLAMICS that are committing the outrageous terrorist acts against America.
Our government should be profiling! NO MUSLIM should be permitted to fly on any airline unless and until they absolutely prove they present no threat to America. There is no doubt in my mind that Franklin Roosevelt, in the wake of all the terrorist attacks, would have not only profiled Islamics as suspects, but would have denied them the right to travel freely about America.
The Obama government coddles and embraces Islamics and Obama even apologizes to our Islamic enemies for America's negative feelings about them.

What Does the Future Hold for America?
The voters sent a loud and clear message to President Obama and both houses of Congress in the recent election. That message - in a nutshell - is, "stop spending money like drunken sailors. Stop passing legislation that the majority of this nation's citizens oppose. Stop promoting a prgressive socialist agenda. Represent the wishes of the citizens WHO PAY to keep America functioning. Stop ignoring and defiling the Constitution.
This citizen remains skeptical that our narcissistic President will change course and I also am skeptical that the newly elected, well intended members of Congress will not become "Washingtonized." We must continue to keep a close eye on government and not get complacent. I do not want to see conservatives compromise with liberal socialist programs! Let Obama continue promoting his socialist agenda and "we the people" will rise up in anger and make certain he is a one term President.
I recently received an email with the enclosure of an editorial that was written by a Ken Huber of Tawas City. I am unfamiliar with Tawas City and did no research to find its location. I hope he will not mind if I quote it in its entirety in this blog.
If I had written the article, I would have used shorter sentences and fewer semi-colons; however, the text of his message is quite inciteful and brilliant. It is entitled, "What has America Become." He wrote: "Editor, Has America become the land of the special interest and home of the double standard? Let's see: if we lie to the Congress, it's a felony and if the Congress lies to us it's just politics; if we dislike a black person, we're racist and if a black dislikes whites, it's their 1st Amendment right; the government spends millions to rehabilitate criminals and they do almost nothing for the victims; in public schools you can teach that homosexuality is OK, but you better not use the word God in the process; you can kill an unborn child, but its wrong to execute a mass murderer; we don't burn books in America, we now rewrite them; we got rid of the communist and socialist threat by renaming them progressives; we are unable to close our border with Mexico, but have no problem protecting the 38th parallel in Korea; if you protest against President Obama's policies you're a terrorist, but if you burned an American flag or George Bush in effigy it was your 1st Amendment right.
You can have pornography on TV or the internet, but you better not put a nativity scene in a public park during Christmas; we have eliminated all criminals in America, they are now called sick people, we can use a human fetus for medical research, but it's wrong to use an animal.
We take money from those who work hard for it and give it to those who don't want to work; we all support the Constitution, but only when it supports our political ideology; we still have freedom of speech, but only if we are being politically correct; parenting has been replaced with Ritalin and video games; the land of opportunity is now the land of hand outs; the similarity between Hurricane Katrina and the gulf oil spill is that neither president did anything to help.
And how do we handle a major crisis today? The government appoints a committee to determine who's at fault, then threatens them, passes a law, raises our taxes; tells us the problem is solved so they can get back to their reelection campaign.
What has happened to the land of the free and home of the brave?"
I have just finished reading "Trickle Up Poverty," by Michael Savage. As most of you know, Doctor Savage, is a conservative talk radio show host who easily incurs the ire of liberals and socialists throughout America. Many consider Doctor Savage to be a radical right wing Conservative, which in truth he is, and I would guess he is proud to be given that label. "Trickle Up Poverty" reveals facts about Barack Hussein Obama and his agenda for America that are downright scary. For example, prior to reading TUP I was unaware that in his youth and while attending college, Obama was a student and champion of Marxism. Now I know why the liberal mainstream media failed to inform voters about Obama's background. Since graduating from college and law school, Obama's close cadre of friends and assistants - many of whom he appointed to Czar positions after being elected President - also adhere to and embrace Communist and radical socialist ideologies. I asked myself why Americans would elect such a dangerous man to the Presidency and came to the conclusion that for the past forty years or more, our public education system has failed to teach the evils of communism. Of course, a largely - and becoming larger - Godless, greedy society, was quick to embrace an energetic, charasmatic young man who promised them "hope" and "change." Their lack of historical knowledge made them fail to perceive that Karl Marx, Vladimir Lennin and Adolf Hitler rose to power by hoodwinking the citizens of Russia and Germany, using the same sort of wonderful sounding rhetoric which trigger a lot of emotion but have no substantial meaning.
As President, Barack Obama is the Commander-in-chief of America's military, and as he has succinctly demonstrated he is anti-military, I cannot for the life of me understand why any patriotic American, with love for God and country, would voluteer to serve in our armed forces. I believe that all who volunteer deserve special recognition and reward for serving their country. They unselfishly sacrifice their lives to keep America free, while their anti-American, ant-military commander-in-chief sets dangerous and ridiculous rules for engagement of the enemy. Doctor Savage points out the rules for engaging the enemy that our military in Afghanistan must comply with. NEVER in the history of warfare have fighters faced such asinine and dangerous regulations. The rules: (1) no night or surprise searches; (2) villagers have to be warned prior to searches; (3) The Afghan National Army or the Afghan National Police must accompany U.S. units on searches; (4)U.S. soldiers may not fire at the enemy unless the enemy is preparing to fire first; (5)U.S. forces cannot engage the enemy if civilians are present; (6)only women can search women; (7)troops can fire at an insurgent if they catch him placing an improvised explosive device (IED) but not if insurgents are walking away from an area where explosives have been laid.
THESE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT ARE CONTRIBUTING TO COMBAT CASUALTIES!
Think how daunting and dangerous these rules are to our UNIFORMED fighters, who are confronted with the task of defeating an enemy that wears NO UNIFORM, hides among the civilian population and uses woman and children to conduct war.
I can just imagine General George Patton or General McArthur being told that their troops had to abide by these asinine rules of engagement. McArthur would have given a brilliant address to Congress and the American People telling them that he would not agree to sacrificing sons and daughters of America in the name of protecting the enemy and he would have submitted his resignation. Patton would have impolitely informed his Commander-in-Chief that he could stick these rules of engagement where the sun does not shine, and he would have resigned.
Personally, I believe that America should never go to war unless it is absolutely necessary to protect and preserve America and it's allies freedom. If America does go to war, the military commanders should be given the whole-hearted support of their C.I.C. and the Congress to win the war using every means at their disposal. Politics should have no role in supporting the military. If the enemy refuses to wear a uniform and hides its identity, then every resident of the enemy nation must either surrender or be targeted as our enemy. Islamic jihadists have time and again demonstrated that they are cowards when it comes to direct confrontation. Their women and children are being trained as jihadists and used to kill American citizens; military and civilian.
I find it despicable that many of our brave fighters in Iraq and Afghanistan are being prosecuted and imprisoned by our government for violating the rules of engagement, or even more despicable, violating the rights of an enemy combatant.
It all comes down to the fact that if America is to survive as a free society; great and powerful nation, we must remove Obama and all of his socialist cronies from their position of power.

I have just finished reading "Trickle Up Poverty," by Michael Savage. As most of you know, Doctor Savage, is a conservative talk radio show host who easily incurs the ire of liberals and socialists throughout America. Many consider Doctor Savage to be a radical right wing Conservative, which in truth he is, and I would guess he is proud to be given that label. "Trickle Up Poverty" reveals facts about Barack Hussein Obama and his agenda for America that are downright scary. For example, prior to reading TUP I was unaware that in his youth and while attending college, Obama was a student and champion of Marxism. Now I know why the liberal mainstream media failed to inform voters about Obama's background. Since graduating from college and law school, Obama's close cadre of friends and assistants - many of whom he appointed to Czar positions after being elected President - also adhere to and embrace Communist and radical socialist ideologies. I asked myself why Americans would elect such a dangerous man to the Presidency and came to the conclusion that for the past forty years or more, our public education system has failed to teach the evils of communism. Of course, a largely - and becoming larger - Godless, greedy society, was quick to embrace an energetic, charasmatic young man who promised them "hope" and "change." Their lack of historical knowledge made them fail to perceive that Karl Marx, Vladimir Lennin and Adolf Hitler rose to power by hoodwinking the citizens of Russia and Germany, using the same sort of wonderful sounding rhetoric which trigger a lot of emotion but have no substantial meaning.
As President, Barack Obama is the Commander-in-chief of America's military, and as he has succinctly demonstrated he is anti-military, I cannot for the life of me understand why any patriotic American, with love for God and country, would voluteer to serve in our armed forces. I believe that all who volunteer deserve special recognition and reward for serving their country. They unselfishly sacrifice their lives to keep America free, while their anti-American, ant-military commander-in-chief sets dangerous and ridiculous rules for engagement of the enemy. Doctor Savage points out the rules for engaging the enemy that our military in Afghanistan must comply with. NEVER in the history of warfare have fighters faced such asinine and dangerous regulations. The rules: (1) no night or surprise searches; (2) villagers have to be warned prior to searches; (3) The Afghan National Army or the Afghan National Police must accompany U.S. units on searches; (4)U.S. soldiers may not fire at the enemy unless the enemy is preparing to fire first; (5)U.S. forces cannot engage the enemy if civilians are present; (6)only women can search women; (7)troops can fire at an insurgent if they catch him placing an improvised explosive device (IED) but not if insurgents are walking away from an area where explosives have been laid.
THESE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT ARE CONTRIBUTING TO COMBAT CASUALTIES!
Think how daunting and dangerous these rules are to our UNIFORMED fighters, who are confronted with the task of defeating an enemy that wears NO UNIFORM, hides among the civilian population and uses woman and children to conduct war.
I can just imagine General George Patton or General McArthur being told that their troops had to abide by these asinine rules of engagement. McArthur would have given a brilliant address to Congress and the American People telling them that he would not agree to sacrificing sons and daughters of America in the name of protecting the enemy and he would have submitted his resignation. Patton would have impolitely informed his Commander-in-Chief that he could stick these rules of engagement where the sun does not shine, and he would have resigned.
Personally, I believe that America should never go to war unless it is absolutely necessary to protect and preserve America and it's allies freedom. If America does go to war, the military commanders should be given the whole-hearted support of their C.I.C. and the Congress to win the war using every means at their disposal. Politics should have no role in supporting the military. If the enemy refuses to wear a uniform and hides its identity, then every resident of the enemy nation must either surrender or be targeted as our enemy. Islamic jihadists have time and again demonstrated that they are cowards when it comes to direct confrontation. Their women and children are being trained as jihadists and used to kill American citizens; military and civilian.
I find it despicable that many of our brave fighters in Iraq and Afghanistan are being prosecuted and imprisoned by our government for violating the rules of engagement, or even more despicable, violating the rights of an enemy combatant.
It all comes down to the fact that if America is to survive as a free society; great and powerful nation, we must remove Obama and all of his socialist cronies from their position of power.

Random Pre-election Observations From a Curmudgeon
Has been awhile since my last posting. Have been busy working with Tate Publishing to finalize my 6th book, The Treasure of Valcour Island.
My wife and I took advantage of early voting and cast our ballots last Friday.
Most pre-election polls report that Republican (Conservatives) will win big. Personally, I am not optimistic that these predictions will come true. Their are far too many people in this country who believe Obama's progressive socialist agenda will provide a comfortable life style for them. These people believe that the government should take money from the rich (definition of rich is murky) and passed on to the little people (definition of little people also murky). To these greedy, self-centered folks, the United States Constitution can be violated at will - if it serves their agenda - and they will gladly sacrifice personal freedom to Obama and "Big Daddy" government.
For decades our nation has been gradually sliding into intellectual and moral decay, so it stands to reason that two generations of spoiled society has come to believe that everyone is entitled to be socially and economically equal, even for people who have not worked for; nor made any personal contribution toward improving their lot in life. An obese government and bloated public education system replaced the '3-R's, civility, morality and discipline, with a disease known as 'political correctness.' Political correctness and its associated symptoms known as diversity and equality, are now pandemic. The PC disease is treated with diversity grants, a diversity program in virtually every university and government programs to ensure every citizen; and non-citizen, receives the education, rights and privileges that previously had to be earned and paid for by the individual.
Our government has set the example as to how modern society should live its life, so how can we expect society to accept responsibility? Our government is irresponsible and spends money recklessly. Government is incurring debt that will saddle future generations of Americans with horrendous debt. So, in following the example set by their government, a politically correct citizenry is of the mentality that they can have whatever they want without paying for it. Why should a homeowner pay his mortgage when government cannot pay its debts? Government has set the example for our PC citizenry to incur debt on their credit cards; because after all, they are entitled and government doesn't pay its debt.

It is a real eye opener as to what Obama's intentions are to convert America into a Socialist Regime. I did not make a mistake in using the word 'regime.' Mr. Savage has investigated Obama's past and it is now obvious why the major media refused to dig into and report Obama's education and his association with communist radicals; many of whom he has appointed czars in his administration. Had an educated America known of Obama's radical background, it is unlikely he would have been elected to the Presidency.
In electing the first black President, this nation made a huge mistake in not electing Herman Cain. Herman understands the Constitution. Herman is Conservative. Herman is opposed to political correctness. Herman knows the importance of individual freedom, and believes in less government control over every facet of out lives.
I hope that America has not sunk into the intellectual and moral morass that prevents the election of Conservative Constitutionalists. November 2, will provide the answer.

Are We Engaged in Another Crusade?
This American citizen is sick and tired of seeing his representatives and fellow citizens say we should not do or say things that offend Muslims. This American citizen is sick and tired of having politicians, other citizens and even members of the Christian clergy tell us we should not speak negatively of the Islamic religion or demonstrate against the evils perpetrated by Islamics lest we make them angry.
This American citizen is damned angry that Islamics have committed numerous terrorist acts against American citizens and continue to do so with minimal condemnation by the impotent United Nations and other nations of the world! And, these acts of terror by Islamics have been going on for nearly three decades!
Recently, President Obama (is he a Muslim?) proclaimed that "America is not at war with Islam, and will never be at war with Islam."
Apparently, Obama and his supporters have a very short memory, or, - and this is more likely - they ignore the fact that radical Islamics have committed numerous acts of terror against American citizens during the past 35 years. Every time Islamics commit a terrorist act against America, our political leaders very carefully point out that the act of brutality was committed by "Islamic extremists" and do not represent the majority of peace loving Islamics. Strangely, I do not recall many reports being issued by the supposed majority of peace loving Islamics condeming their jihadist brethren. It would seem to me that if only 10 per cent of Islamics are Jihadists, and the peace loving 90 per cent majority were opposed to their acts of violence, the peace loving majority would join forces with the rest of the world to end their ability to wage acts of terror. I do not see this happening.
I have read a great deal of history concerning Islam and Muhammed (Mohammed) and my study leaves me of the opinion that Islam, especially the Sha'ria sect, is a brutal religion that severely discriminates against women, homosexuals and women - not men - who commit adultery. Islamics have little to no tolerance for Judaism or Christianity, and hold to the tenet that Islam is the one true faith and Allah is the one true God.
Has anyone ever seen or participated in an interfaith celebration in any Mosque? I do not recall any.
Now, Obama is providing high tech military equipment to Saudi Arabia in the hope that the Saudi's will use that equipment to keep Iran from becoming a threat to Israel and the United States. In my mind, that is a very poor decision and I fear that one day these planes, missiles and armament will be used against either Israel or the United States. Present this concern to Obama and he will claim that Saudi Arabia is a great ally of the United States. Guess he has forgotten that some of the 9/11 terrorists were Saudis. Guess that it doesn't concern him that an Islamic nation that refuses to allow Christian or Judaic worship in Mecca or Medina might be stonger allied with other Islamic nations.
I am of the opinion that Islam is in fact at war with the United States and the rest of the non Islamic world. We are in fact engaged in another crusade that the leaders of the free world choose to ignore because they fear Islam. To my way of thinking, this is the manner in which Islamics are conducting their war to conquer the world: (1)Those Islamics proclaiming to be peace loving, are patient in their war of conquest. Their plan is to steadily increase their numbers and dominance in free world countries until they are able to force concessions and eventually take control. (2) The Jihadist Islamics have no patience and want to enforce Mohammed's law that all non-believers must be enslaved or executed. The Islamic leaders committed to plan (1) do not believe jihad will achieve their goal; however,they would be happy if the radical element of their religion did succeed in taking down the United States, Israel and other free nations.
Not having to deal with political correctness, womens rights, homosexual rights, prisoners rights, freedom of speech, diversity and religious freedom, Islamic leaders perceive those nations who are confronted by these issues as weak and morally and spiritually corrupt. The Islamism of the world is steadily making progress and many countries such as Germany, Denmark, France and England are beginning to face having to make concessions and meet the demands of Islamics or confront demonstrations and riots.
The United States, because of the lack of intelligence and wisdom of our leaders; most of whom are committed to political correctness, refuse to profile, and appreciate the monetary support they receive from Islamics, will soon be confronted by Islamic demands for more power and control.
The Crusade - started by Islam - is in many respects a stealth war and sadly, the majority of our nations leaders as well as many religious leaders, refuse to accept the truth that confronts them each and every day that we are at war with Islam.
If Islam is permitted to continue their crusade unabated, they will eventually achieve their goal.

Our Corrupt & Obese Government
The curmudgeon has returned to slinging arrows at a government that has forgotten its function and purpose under the United States Constitution. Government has come to serve the labor unions and special interest groups that contribute to political campaigns and gives lip service to the rest of society.
My attack today is on the United States Department of Education, a cabinet-level department that our founding fathers never intended be created, and which is in fact unconstitutional.
For those folks unfamiliar with the history of DOE; it was created under the Carter Administration in 1979 and began operating on May 16, 1980. Prior to its being named the United States Department of Education and a cabinet position unto itself, the federal government played a minor role in the funding and supervision of public education and education fell under the umbrella of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare.
Since its creation, the DOE has become a powerful entity of government and basically serves to keep the Democratic Party in power, although every Democratic politician and every NEA union leader will protest this fact and claim that the DOE is all about providing quality education to America's youth.
President Ronald Reagan and many members of the Republican Party rightly recognized that the Department of Education is unconstitutional and unnecessary federal bureaucratic intrusion into local affairs (Wikpedia) Reagan promised to eliminate the DOE as a cabinet post, but the DOE had become such a powerful entity he was unable to do so.
Since its creation, trillions of $$ have been poured into public education by the fedral government and every year the leaders of DOE and the NEA proclaim that the reason America's youth are failing is a lack of funding. They doth protest too much and in my mind they are greedy skunks fleecing the American taxpayer for the sole purpose of making the NEA more powerful and the DOE as a controlling force in politics.
From my perspective the qualities that will insure a good education are dedicated teachers having the cooperation of parents committed to doing everything possible to see that their child studies and learns. Those are the two most important factors.
Once upon a time (I know this sounds like the beginning of a fairy tale because it was so long ago) schools were all about education and no nonsense was allowed. Teachers and administration was permitted and expected to provide discipline to ensure focus on learning. Parents supported strict discipline as they knew a disciplined school environment was absolutely necessary for the learning process. Along with the discipline was a dress code and although casual clothing could be worn to school, that clothing should be relatively clean and not provocative or revealing. Classrooms were an orderly environment of learning and distractions were not permitted. Then along came the modern day child psychologists and behaviorists who proclaimed that discipline and embarassing a child in school would damage self esteem and lead to permanently damaging their psyche. What nonsense! No one had his self esteem damaged in school more than your writer and the discipline I received was appropriate and made me a stronger and better person.
Many classrooms of today, indeed in some areas, entire schools, are chaotic, with little respect shown by students for teachers or for each other. Shorts, revealing dress, cell phones, ipods, tattoos and piercings serve the chaos and distract from the learning environment. In some schools, rap and hip-hop music echo through the halls and in the class rooms many students talk all at once and disrupt the learning process.
In lieu of suspensions, students receive referrals. One referral, two refferals, three referrals and then, boy, you are in big trouble, man! Your parents might be required to visit the school to discuss your behavior. No big deal to students who are spoiled rotten. Not much of a concern to the kid who has one parent and basically is on his or her own at home. Not a big deal to the kid who knows that his parents will believe his version that he is being picked on and singled out in school.
Meanwhile, the public school environment becomes ever more chaotic and many once devoted and dedicated teachers have come to accept that it is far easier to avoid a hassle with administration and parents and just put in time toward retirement at what - in most districts - will amount to one-half annual pay plus full medical, dental and vision
benefits.
No Child Left Behind had a wonderful sounding title but it was a pollyanna vision and a huge expense that saw children continually left behind. The program should be graded an F.
An entire book could be written considering the failings of modern public education and why it will continue to fail, but I can sum those failings up in one sentence. Education would be greatly improved if the Federal Government was not involved. Education is best served by the States and communities that can address the specific needs of their demographic makeup.
Unfortunately, their is no hope of the federal government giving up control of public education so billions of $$ will continue to be pumped into a cesspool that continues to receive a failing grade.
How many of you knew that among the sub-agencies in the DOE is the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans. Aw what the heck, this agency probably just costs us a few million bucks each year and all those illegal ( I mean undocumented kids ) have to be provided all the special needs required by their culture and language.
And that is only one department that meets the needs of a particular group. How about "Historically Black," or, White House Initiative on Tribal, etc. etc.

As the controversy concerning the planned construction of an Islamic (Sharia) Mosque, two blocks from ground zero heats up, I could not help but note how many questions the media have not asked Imam Rauf.
Why is the Imam adamant about building a mega Mosque at this site in the face of overwhelming opposition by the American public? After all, he could build his Mosque in other areas, actually much more accessible to Muslim worshippers.
The answer seems very clear. This Imam who wears a false smile of friendship, actually hates and despises the United States of America, and building the Mosque near ground zero would serve as an insult to America and a memorial to the Islamic jihadist crazies of 9/11. If Imam Rauf succeeds in building the Mosque near ground zero, he will be recognized as a lion in the Islamic world and become a martyr to radical Islamics.
My questions to the "Boob" politicians - including President Obama and Mayor Boomberg (sic) - who provide support to the building of the mosque is: Where is your patriotism? Why do you want to dishonor America and the victims of 9/11 by allowing a Mosque meant to insult and spit upon their horrible sacrifice at the hands of Islamic murdering thug - crazies? This Mosque has nothing to do with religious tolerance and the right of Muslims to worship at the site. They already do.
Why aren't our politicians and the mainstream media addressing the intolerance of Islamic nations toward Christians and Jews? There are (Fox News report) presently 22 Islamic Mosques in Manhattan. How many Christian churches and Synagogues are their in Medina and Mecca? The answer is NONE. They are not allowed.
Why would our politicians who are so dedicated and devoted to womens rights issues and non-discrimination against homosexuals, voice support for a religion that treats their women like second class citizens and slaves and executes homosexuals?
Having read segments of the Quran (Koran) and books detailing the life of Mohammed, I am convinced that Islam is a religion that has no affection and little tolerance for other religions of the world. Its adherents believe theirs is the one true religion and all others are inferior. Islam is not a religion of tolerance and in fact advocates violence toward non-believers. Islamics strictly obey the teachings and direction of their Imams. this provides the answer as to why Mayor Boomberg promotes the Mosque and shows deference to the Imam. Islamics for the most part do not have free will and strictly adhere to and obey their religious leaders. If the Imams in NY tell their brethren that Allah wants them to vote for a particular candidate, they will do so enmasse.
Did anyone note that Imam Hussein Obama and His Dishonor Boomberg played golf together this past week in Martha's Vineyard. Does make one wonder??
